Kinda got some chrome on the brain lately, so been looking at a few tips and tricks.

[http://www.flashvalley.com/fv_tutorials/chrome_effect_in_Flash_with_vector_graphics/ Dude] has a nice tutorial which I wanted to try, but I wanted to code it, not point-and-click it.

The [http://www.flashvalley.com/fv_tutorials/chrome_effect_in_Flash_with_vector_graphics/ tutorial] breaks down the chrome into 3 steps which are a lot like making [http://code.google.com/p/hx-glassifri</wiki>

I've been trying to get more into writing games lately, and the sprite availability is starting to become a nuisance.

There are a number of spots where you can ask spriters to help you out, but this has a number of problems:

* turn around time: asking strangers for favors makes it hard to set deadlines
* graphic homogeneity: making sure all the sprites look like they go together
* low frame count: spriters usually do about 3 frames per action</wiki>
